April 23, 2016, on a private island off the coast of Aruba, I married my King, and then danced the night away with some of our favorite people!
It was epic.
But before the ceremony, we snuck off on our first date as Mr. and Mrs. -- Our First Look!
While our wedding photos are published in international magazines and websites, I’ve never actually shared pictures from our First Look, but my heart feels ready!
It was such a private moment.
A moment that felt like forever, in the best of ways.
Just us and our incredible photographers, Meg + Josh.
Doing the First Look was hands-down the best decision for us!
In the midst of a crazy day with a jam-packed schedule (we were racing the sun because we had a sunset ceremony) our First Look was just what we needed -- a chance to slow down and privately celebrate what we were about to do.
After the First Look we spent about 30 minutes walking around Oranjestad.
Islanders were driving by, honking and cheering, people — total strangers -- so happy for us, and our photographers were snapping away, capturing it all.
Just us.
Hand in hand, with Julian whispering sweet everything’s in my ear (none of which are appropriate to share). 🤫😂
We looked into each other’s eyes and were like yeah, this is it, this is us, this is ours. Forever.
Easily one of my most cherished memories in this life.
I only hope to remember it and feel it in my soul forever.
After our time together, I rested my feet for 2.5 seconds and then hopped on a boat with my best girls and headed to the private island where my Julian, his brothers, and our families were waiting.
So dreamy.
4 years later and I’m just as grateful as ever to every person who celebrated this magical weekend with us, whether in person or in spirit. You are family. I love you all so so much!
Arriba Aruba!
Love Always.
